Welcome!

For over 50 years Greystones Sailing Club has been a vibrant home of racing, training and socialising for sailors in the town and from the surrounding areas. We have hosted Regional, National and World Championship events. Alongside a busy Summer racing schedule, we run junior and adult training, and a social calendar set in our modern clubhouse with the best view in Greystones.
Dinghy sailing

From April to October, we run dinghy racing every Saturday afternoon. From May to August, we have Wednesday evening racing starting at 7.30pm. We primarily sail RS200s, RS400s, GP14s, Lasers, Wayfarers and RS Aeros. We count everyone from beginners to Regional or National Champions in nearly all these fleets among our members!
In summer months we also run Junior Sailing on Sunday mornings, with plenty of adults also taking to the water at the same time. Our juniors are primarily sailing RS Fevas, Lasers and RS200s, while our club training boats are Hartley 12s and Picos. Summer training courses are a key bedrock of the club with more info here.

Keelboat sailing

Greystones boasts a very active keelboat fleet, with a range of boats from 21 to 37 feet racing socially throughout the Summer on Thursday evenings and Saturday afternoons. The highlight of the year is the Taste Of Greystones Regatta at the end of August, which retains a loyal following from Arklow to Malahide and clubs everywhere in between.
